Product Data-Handling & Client-Side Processing Architecture

Unlike conventional web services, Format & Validate Json is engineered with a strict zero-transmission, local-execution architecture:

  • 100% In-Memory Execution: All JSON formatting, minification, tree hierarchy generation, alphabetical key sorting, and syntax parsing are executed locally inside your client web browser via client-side JavaScript.
  • Zero Server Transmission: Text, payloads, tokens, passwords, database exports, or snippets pasted into or uploaded to the editor are never transmitted across any network connection to our hosting servers, third-party APIs, or analytics databases.
  • Ephemeral Lifecycle: Input and formatted JSON exist exclusively within volatile browser memory for the duration of your active session. Closing or refreshing the browser tab immediately clears memory.
  • Client-Side Storage: The Service uses browser localStorage solely to remember non-sensitive user interface preferences (such as your chosen light or dark theme setting). No payload data is ever persisted in local storage.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership of Payloads

You retain full and unencumbered ownership of all data, text, JSON documents, schemas, and configurations that you process through the Service. Because no payload data is collected, stored, or processed on remote systems, Format & Validate Json asserts zero ownership, licensing, or intellectual property claims over your inputs or outputs.

5. Acceptable Use & Service Integrity

You agree to utilize the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree not to:

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the creators, maintainers, and hosting contributors of Format & Validate Json shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages—including, but not limited to, loss of data, corrupted files, production deployment disruptions, software defects, loss of revenue, or business interruptions—arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, this utility or any data processed through it.
